It begins with a great book written by one of the many authors and teachers who help us see the world from a new perspective. So many books and so little time!
You won’t need to buy the book unless you'd like to read along with me, and you won’t need a subscription to an audiobook site. I’ll send you audio clips so you can listen on your way to work, while you’re at lunch, or even out walking! I’ll also send you thought-provoking questions to go along with each chapter to help you reflect and integrate what you learn. And, finally, we’ll come together at the end of the book to share our discoveries, ask questions, and offer ideas to help us continue on our path of growth and evolution. If you’re local, we’ll meet up in Omaha. If you’re one of our friends from around the country, we’ll also have one scheduled on Zoom. |

The original A Course in Miracles is a self-study system of spiritual awakening that teaches the way to inner peace and healing through the power of love and forgiveness.
The original Course is composed of three volumes, one of which is the Full Text which is written in iambic pentameter and has been likened to the classic poetry of Shakespeare. It also includes a Workbook for Students which is designed as a set of 365 daily teachings and exercises, along with a Manual for Teachers. Alan Cohen has taken this very large and daunting text and lovingly created a beautiful compilation of the teachings perfect for those who may not be ready for the larger, original volumes. If you are not familiar with A Course in Miracles, I recommend visiting www.acim.org. Now for the rest of the details... A set of audio clips will be sent each Monday morning at 7:00 a.m. so you can listen at your convenience during the week. Each week will require roughly 60 minutes of listening time. Here is the schedule for audio clip delivery: Sunday, October 15th Monday, October 23 Monday, October 30 Monday, November 6 Monday, November 13 You’ll receive questions to go along with some of the chapters so you’ll want to have a notebook to jot down your thoughts. This will be useful if you join us for one or both discussion groups! And finally, you’re invited to join me for one, or both, of the Guided Book Study Wrap-Up Groups.
