I'm not a big fan of winter.
It's cold. It's dark. And, my car is always dirty. Oh, yeah, and I get to practice my winter driving skills on icy streets with everyone else who's practicing THEIR winter driving skills. Not. Fun. Yep, I've been complaining about winter this week. A lot. Here in Omaha we've had two days of pretty slick conditions during our morning commute, so my divine support team was once again, very creative in how they prepared and supported me. My guides love to run a musical medley through my mind each morning as I awake. They think they're pretty funny. Actually, they really are. Monday morning it was "Slip Sliding Away" by Simon and Garfunkel. I thought it an odd selection until I looked out the window and saw the lovely freezing rain! Tuesday morning it was Andy Williams, "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year". Cute, real cute. They knew I was already aware that we had "Thunder Sleet" the night before and it would be another fun adventure on the roads! So last night before going to sleep, I asked them to give me just a little sign of hope that spring truly is right around the corner. They didn't disappoint. This morning I awoke to "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles. Made my whole day! I hope clicking on the image above and listening to it makes your day, too!
